Salcheto Winehouse is a boutique country hotel, housed within a 13th century farmhouse that is situated at the heart of the Salcheto winery of Montepulciano in Tuscany.

Its views, picturesque and astonishing, open up over the ancient town of Montepulciano and fly all the way to the Valdichiana “Chiari” drawn by Leonardo Da Vinci.

The 9 rooms, the lounge and a large kitchen are furnished by Elisa Cavani of Manoteca, to live the experience of the Tuscan countryside through many perspectives, from the culture of beauty to wine and relaxation, with a touch of passionate love for taking care of the surrounding nature.

The rooms are offered with breakfast included and equipped with air conditioning.

In the furnished garden guests may enjoy wood powered hot tubs.

In the rooms, and within the hotel, a special service is offered to take care of great wine bottles (wine cellars, tasting sets)

At the nearby cellar, an Enoteca with Kitchen is open everyday for lunch, and by reservation guests of the Winehouse can enjoy private services for lunch or dinner, also served in the garden, which may be paired with cooking classes.

The Salcheto’s Enoteca is raised at the heart of the cellar, where wine is made. It is not an accident but a choice, to open all our doors to visitors, to really convey what we do.

For this same reason that during the harvest period you can taste our wine, accompanied by one of our Brunch, experiencing the charm of the pick-up season all around. The kitchen serves daily lunches with special courses designed for us by friends chefs. The scenery is magnificent, both in the dining room or from the terrace overlooking Montepulciano.

How to get here

When arriving from Florence, take exit 28, Valdichiana, on the motorway A1 and proceed towards Montepulciano-Chiusi. Take the direction Chianciano Terme and turn left before Sant’Albino when you’ll see the sing “VIA DI VILLA BIANCA”.

When arriving from Rome, take the Chiusi-Chianciano Terme exit and proceed towards Chianciano Terme – Montepulciano. Once past Chianciano Terme and Sant’Albino, turn right at Km 23 when you’ll see the sign “VIA DI VILLA BIANCA” (by the cross road indicating Monticchiello).
